Mahapach Yarok"- Jerusalem's Composting Initiative
The recycling revolution begins at home!

Hundreds of families have already joined "MahapchYarok" and have started composting their organic waste locally.
We invite you to join our growing community of those who realize that a "green" lifestyle is possible within the city.
Work with us to create a cleaner, environmentally friendly Jerusalem!

This project is an initiative of Jerusalem Municipality, Community councils, and the Ministry of Environmental Protection.
The project is managed by neighborhood residents, whether living in a private home or a shared building.
The project has shown that a residents' initiative together with Jerusalem's municipality can become a flourishing project of sustainability.
